Good and crazy is a nice combo

Sooooooo many things have been going on in the past week. All good though, so let me tell you about it. I'll go by days, since that'll make it a little less crazy, lol.

Mon: Get asked if I wanna go to Philly by my friend Katelynn, who wants to go see The Wanted (a british boy band, specifically to see Jay) and I decide I should get out of town.

Tues: Find out my bf, that was supposed to have been in Woburn until June, was gonna drive 2 hrs just to see me on thursday. Happiness.

Wed: Normal, good close.

Thurs: Apartment cleaning, Nam comes into town, we spend all day outside and then eating lots and lots of food (well me anyway, lol), floorset during the night.

Fri: Nam leaves :( Later that afternoon I FINALLY get to ride Willow (the horse at my new apt, which I've been wanting to ride for weeks now), good close @BBW.

Sat: Sleep in (thank goodness), work close. Help hispanic lady and her mom find her husband and kids after the mall had closed. Go to Noho w/Amanda and Brittany, return and get to sleep around 3 am

Sun: Open @Sbux, pick Katelynn up, we set off at 5 and go to NJ and stay @ my uncle's house.

Mon: go to Philly, spend most of day wandering around, get dinner w/her friend and sleep in hotel, missing a flight the boys were supposed to come in on Tues....

Tues: go to boys' hotel, do a little meet + greet (they're all very nice, and gorgeous), go to concert hall, where the tickets at that time were 50 bucks, but we were only gonna see one act, and I wasn't gonna spend that, so while Lauren and Katelynn were at a concert, I went to a bar by the Phillies' game @ Xfinity live, and went into the PBR (Pro Bull Riding) bar, where the second song they played was "God Bless Texas". I was meant to be there, obviously. Right before I met up w/the girls I rode a mechanical bull, and had fun w/that. During the bull ride the song playing was "Jose Cuervo" (also meant to be), and then we all went to the airport to see the boys off. End up staying the night in Jersey @ Slaur's place.

Wed: Leave Jersey @ 7a, get stuck in traffic in NYC, and we make it to Mass by abt 1pm. I close that night.

Thurs: Decide that it will be the last day I attempt to call Dave's (for a job), but this time I get directly connected to Dave, and then have an interview @ 2pm. It goes very well. :) He tell's me I'll get a call the next day, if not that afternoon. My new phone (HTC One X) comes in (my phone has been horrible lately. During my trip it didn't work almost at all...) after being out of stock at the warehouse for a few weeks. Then, a 2 1/2 hr workout, then hangout.

Fri:  General Manager calls me, and we set up an interview for 2pm as well, and we basically talk for about 2 hrs, and I meet the asst manager as well as one of their long-term employees. I should be a part of their team on a part-time basis for a while before getting a full time position. I'll be training at Hadley, where Dennis (GM) said they were all awesome peeps.

That has been my good crazy last week. :)  Coming up... one of my best friends, Masha, will be coming back to Amherst in June, and I haven't seen her in about a year and a half, so I'm excited. Also, Nam will be coming back to visit in June, and we're gonna watch the premiere of Brave. I'll be moving in to my apartment this week (which, I was supposed to have done these last 2 days, but... that hasn't exactly happened....) Well, there you go, you are filled in. :D

Growing Pink

My pink polka-dotted plant is doing so well! It even had 2 small flowers, spring is almost here!

On another note, I've been at Starbucks for about 3 weeks now. I like it so far, but I'm still just beginning in my training.

I now have a work out buddy, so will definitely do at least 3x a week. Since I'm adjusted to the work scene now, I'm going to try to shoot for at least 4x a week starting next week.

My birthday is in a month! Yay! Hm... what should I do???

Oh, got laundry done today. Such a nice feeling to have clean clothes.

Btw, should be back in Texas from April 6-12 ideally.

I have officially decided to self-publish my book first. I'm still deciding on a title though. It'll be between Spinning Plaid, Attn:, and The Peak of Entropy

Plans for Poetry Video

Oh and on another note, I went to Chatroulette and talked to this Australian guy for like 30 min. It was pretty cool.

Well, I believe that's it for now :)

Back from the Read

Well hey there! Sorry I haven't been posting, I've went back to Texas, then went back to Mass, have been looking for a full-time job, etc, etc. Anyway, so I'll give you the gist.

-went to Texas on a plane, visited family, saw Maxine, worked a tiny bit, visited more family, Christmas, visited friends, New Year's

-back to Mass, brought Mushu with me, visited friends, went on some hikes, hours cut, looking for full-time job, establishing residency, so am taking a year off of school, still owe $10 grand to school, cleaned out my car (finally), joined a gym

so, there, you're caught up. :)

so, Friday night I went to a concert and saw Bujak and Spiritual Rez, Saturday I worked, was so sleepy, so I slept for like 16 hours (almost straight), I have some interview follow-up questions with Starbucks, and... I think that's it for now.

Oh, and unfortunately, the 2 books I was reading (and wanted to finish) are in Texas, because I forgot to put them in my backpack. :(

That should catch you up, and I updated my song playlist, so ttyl!

P.S. I got all As and Bs for the semester (despite being sick for 3 weeks) yay!

Embedded in the book store with no particular flavor in mind

So... I'm here at B+N, and I'm not finding anything particularly interesting. I'm trying to read 2 books I brought with me, but today they are not particularly interesting. I have 3 finals this week, and should be focusing on that, but since I slept 19 hours today. (Yes, 19. I was shocked too.) I want to be awake for quite a time. Therefore, I have coffee. As usual. I had a meal today, but yet again, it wasn't particularly interesting and I wasn't sitting sitting with any friends or anything so this might be just cause as to the feeling. I only have 1 week left, and then I will be off to Texas on Monday. I should make the most out of this week. So, I will be on a job hunt soon, but now that I'm looking at what actual options I have to work with, I might just extend my part-time to a full time. It's quite annoying. Also, I worked on my poetry manuscript last night, and wrote a 3-page poem. Now I'm rocking to my David Crowder mix on Pandora, not to make up for the fact that I missed church today, but I do love his music and others similar, and I probably need some spiritual stimulation today anyway. I'm surrounded by marketing right now, and sometimes I believe I can market better than these people anyway. Ugh, I hate being in this state where I'm stuck. The semester's practically over, so now the only things I have left to do are 3 tests left, and work, and a few papers (which I'll do tomorrow). I need to find a ride to the airport. Hm. just Hm. yup. Hm. la dee dahhhhhhda. I don't think they should be playing Christmas music yet, but that being said it's been playing for like a month now which is absolutely absurd. Well, it went back to the fifties again, but it will probably be back to the 30s in about a day. I just want to have a literary agent already so I know that my project is really in progress, but I wish I just had more patience. I am trying my best as a writer to have at least 1 thing a day, and I won't be a full-time writer or something b/c that's just not reasonable. Well... I suppose I'll just keep on walking, and the next week shall prove most entertaining. And I get to see my family agian :) And a debate reunion, and all that good stuff. Oh, the joy of finals week.

Mis clases y vida colegio en general

Aren't u glad I'm not typing the actual blog in spanish? lol. Btw, if you don't know, that means "My classes and college life in general"
Ok, so in case you're wondering, I'm taking 15 hours this sem. This includes - in ranking of faves -
1. Mass Media, Self, and Society
2. Forensics Lab
3. Public Speaking
4. Foundation of Servant Leadership (H)
5. Concepts of Physical Fitness
6. Physical Science (w/concurrent Lab)

So far college is going great, we have to squeeze like 13 ppl at our lunch table. They're awesome, crazy, and I love 'em. I think I told you abt my roomies in my last blog....
It's great living on campus, and I can walk or ride my bike to everywhere in town, so I'm getting some exercise. Oh, and I live on the 2nd floor so I'll have some built calves by the end of the semester, ha ha. ....
Pink hair! darn. I was uploading a picture but it didn't work. If u have my facebook the pic's on there. It's just a small section, but I'm trying out different colors to see what works best, and then I may put in some semi-permanent stuff.

um.... I thought I had more to say, but I really don't. We've just been watching movies every weekend and stuff like that. We did go to the KS state fair 2 days ago tho. It was fun, but I didn't get to go on any rides. :( s'ok b/c a lot of people had homework. Right now, college isn't anymore difficult than high school, but we'll see how that goes toward the middle of the semester.

I really like it though. Oh, and there's this program our college is part of called "Best Semester" where you get to study abroad. I'm thinking of going to Russia or Costa Rica either 2nd sem soph or 2nd sem jr, b/c there's a language studies class I'm taking 1st sem jr yr. If I go on the trip to Russia, I'll be abt 7 hrs away from Zina and Marina!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited. :) But of course, I'm only 1/3 of the way through the 1st semester. If even that. Yeah, like 3 weeks. So, i'll tell u if anything comes up.... that's it for now.

P.S. Animes recently watching: Bleach (10?), Shakugan no Shana (2) , and MHS (2)

Scaling the Andes

Andes mints that is. :) I had a box of 28 mints and ate the whole thing in 2 days. Whoops. Oh well.
Anyway, transition into college is a cinch so far. My roomies are all wonderful : there's Kaitie, Alex, and Sarah (all from KS). Besides the fact that it's always at least a 15 degree diff between here and houston, it's all right. My classes are pretty interesting so far. All except Physical Science b/c so far it's really easy, and the fact that all my other classes are in the morning and this one class is at 2:10 everyday. The good thing is that I only have a max of 3 classes a day.
I can walk to class for everywhere I need to go, and the town is so small that I ride my bike practically everyday. So, I like it so far.
On a different note, this weekend I'll be traveling to Tyler, TX (around there anyway) to go to the Center for Creative Media) which I strongly considered applying to. It's for the ppl interested in media production and such. I'll already know the campus, and they're an awesome organization so I think it'll be fun.
Now, in lull of all this crazy college life, I still miss all my tomball ppl dearly, just so u know. ;)

I think that's all I have to report right now. TTYL!
