For the geeks:

Well, I thought since I've watched a few animes, that I might as well post my top 10. I dunno if you'll appreciate it or not, but if you have spare time, here you go:

1. Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion
2. Bleach
3. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
4. Shakugan no Shana
5. Rosario + Vampire
6. Azumanga Daioh
7. Fullmetal Alchemist
8. This Ugly Yet Beautiful World
9. Inuyasha
10. Trigun

- I really don't know if Avatar is technically an anime, but if it is, then it's up there

As far as manga goes, I'd have to say (for girls at least):
1. Chibi Vampire
2. Fruits Basket

Well, there you go! If you find yourself on youtube w/spare time or at a bookstore looking for something interesting to browse, then remember this list.

Mis clases y vida colegio en general

Aren't u glad I'm not typing the actual blog in spanish? lol. Btw, if you don't know, that means "My classes and college life in general"
Ok, so in case you're wondering, I'm taking 15 hours this sem. This includes - in ranking of faves -
1. Mass Media, Self, and Society
2. Forensics Lab
3. Public Speaking
4. Foundation of Servant Leadership (H)
5. Concepts of Physical Fitness
6. Physical Science (w/concurrent Lab)

So far college is going great, we have to squeeze like 13 ppl at our lunch table. They're awesome, crazy, and I love 'em. I think I told you abt my roomies in my last blog....
It's great living on campus, and I can walk or ride my bike to everywhere in town, so I'm getting some exercise. Oh, and I live on the 2nd floor so I'll have some built calves by the end of the semester, ha ha. ....
Pink hair! darn. I was uploading a picture but it didn't work. If u have my facebook the pic's on there. It's just a small section, but I'm trying out different colors to see what works best, and then I may put in some semi-permanent stuff.

um.... I thought I had more to say, but I really don't. We've just been watching movies every weekend and stuff like that. We did go to the KS state fair 2 days ago tho. It was fun, but I didn't get to go on any rides. :( s'ok b/c a lot of people had homework. Right now, college isn't anymore difficult than high school, but we'll see how that goes toward the middle of the semester.

I really like it though. Oh, and there's this program our college is part of called "Best Semester" where you get to study abroad. I'm thinking of going to Russia or Costa Rica either 2nd sem soph or 2nd sem jr, b/c there's a language studies class I'm taking 1st sem jr yr. If I go on the trip to Russia, I'll be abt 7 hrs away from Zina and Marina!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited. :) But of course, I'm only 1/3 of the way through the 1st semester. If even that. Yeah, like 3 weeks. So, i'll tell u if anything comes up.... that's it for now.

P.S. Animes recently watching: Bleach (10?), Shakugan no Shana (2) , and MHS (2)

Scaling the Andes

Andes mints that is. :) I had a box of 28 mints and ate the whole thing in 2 days. Whoops. Oh well.
Anyway, transition into college is a cinch so far. My roomies are all wonderful : there's Kaitie, Alex, and Sarah (all from KS). Besides the fact that it's always at least a 15 degree diff between here and houston, it's all right. My classes are pretty interesting so far. All except Physical Science b/c so far it's really easy, and the fact that all my other classes are in the morning and this one class is at 2:10 everyday. The good thing is that I only have a max of 3 classes a day.
I can walk to class for everywhere I need to go, and the town is so small that I ride my bike practically everyday. So, I like it so far.
On a different note, this weekend I'll be traveling to Tyler, TX (around there anyway) to go to the Center for Creative Media) which I strongly considered applying to. It's for the ppl interested in media production and such. I'll already know the campus, and they're an awesome organization so I think it'll be fun.
Now, in lull of all this crazy college life, I still miss all my tomball ppl dearly, just so u know. ;)

I think that's all I have to report right now. TTYL!

Procrastination Hurts

Well, I said I was packing on the last post, but I only got like 2 boxes packed. I AM FINALLY FINISHED W/THE PET STORE WINDOW! will take a pic of it in the morning. Anyway, so b/c of my delay, i only have a few hours to pack everything i need for college. I don't even have a poem for debate yet!!! GAH! and, who knows where that poetry slam book went. I was gonna get something out of that. I have finished my term at Accent on Pets for now, but will return next summer and resume work there, and at the Pet Stop. :) but, as for now, my balance is abt to reduce significantly thx to books for classes, medical insurance, and other such costs.
Hey, how am i supposed to to taebo in an itty-bitty dorm??? I suppose i can go down to the basement w/the big tv and den when nobody's there, but we'll see abt that. Maybe my roomies can join me and we can do turbo and taebo. :D I really wanna continue kickboxing when i'm in college. so, how can i go abt infusing dance, kickboxing, bellydancing, and taebo into one??? we shall see... after regular college stuff of course.
On another note, I had a good last day in Tomball. The core all had dinner together, attempted bowling, but then ended up @ my house like usual, lol. But it was fun. I'm gonna miss those guys so much. <3
All i have to do now, is:
set up Maxine's spay
get my last 2 paychecks
pack
buy dog food
get heartworm tests for pooches
buy revolution or advantix
get tb test results
pack
.......I think that's it. bye bye! :D

Closer and closer...

So, abt 9 days until I go off to college. I looked at the sched for orientation, and may I say it looks AWESOME. On another note, I recieved my CD from Hungary, and now have Best of Unique! I'm SO inspired to make a video now w/more music in my library. So far my pets at sterling are gonna be: - Stewie the plastic crawfish
- ? the singing felt parrot
- my tank of tiger barbs :D
I have the tank, but I'm gonna have to ask Carol abt how to set it up. I called Petco in Hutch, and they use a dechlorinator, but no stress coat..... of course, tetras are more sensitive so.... whatever, we'll just see what condition they are in when I browse.
Speaking of pets, this is my last week @ my job in Tomball. It's so wierd. I'll prolly get called on abt schedules, fish, or prices though. No doubt I'll get texted about what price n-bones are while i'm gone or something. I was thinking of painting some things around the grooming door b/c it's so lifeless and needs some pizazz. We'll see when I talk it over w/Angella. Also, I could prolly build a website. (Cuz I have like.....6) but 2 are abt to shut down :( . That means a new one! :)
ANYWAY, yeah, it's all wierd.
found my class ring :)
I'm packing right now and I realize I have a lot more stuff than I realized. The hard part is deciding what NOT to bring, and then deciding what will all fit in 2 cars.
On the way to KS, I will be learning French w/a CD. :D I already know 1-10 in french by listening to the song 2 times, so I assume in a 12-hour drive I'll get to learn the basic vocabulary or grammatical structure.
Can't wait to get those shoes Desiree promised me!
Hm.... what else.... I'm gonna miss my Tomball ppl. A lot.
I think that's it. Bye bye dearie!

WOO HOO!!!! I got a 5 on my eco exam! :D I was uber happy when i got my score in.
So, anyway, 20 days until Sterling. Wow, it's wierd... I'm finally going off to college. I'll be leaving a lot of things, but I'm totally ready for college. Have been for a long time. Anyway.... Yet again, not much to report.
